We have a full timetable of sessions, including some brand new ones! Check it out:

We also offer the following services:

  • Embrace Legal

A legal service provided to parents by our Legal Professional, Rebecca Whippy, Associate of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. This is a chargeable service and Rebecca will help with reports, attend tribunals and lasting powers of attorney, along with a range of other areas.

  • Advocacy Service

Our team of volunteer advocates are fully trained and highly skilled in order to support parents to ensure their children with special educational needs and disabilities are provided with the correct support and education. This can include help with the EHCP process.

  • Learning Sessions

Our qualified and experienced teacher, Leanna Forse, runs a range of groups throughout the week; see the timetable for our basic list of sessions.

These are open to all children unless stated otherwise.

  • Sensory Snipz

Annette Ackland is our hairdresser and she’s great with children with SEND. Contact the centre for more information and to book. Haircuts are £8 each.

  • Birthday Party Hire

We offer two party packages for Sundays: 11-2 or 2:30-5:30.

  • Sensory Room Hire

You can hire our sensory room for £10 an hour. This offers exclusive use and is a fantastic space to be calm and relaxed.

  • Centre Hire

The whole centre is available for hire. Price varies depending on which rooms you wish to use.

A number of local business groups have hired to hold meetings; some independent therapists and schools also hire rooms from us.

  • Champagne Glass Hire

If you need glasses for an event, you can hire up to 50 champagne flutes from Embrace. All we ask is for a donation to the charity.

Literacy Classes

Literacy Classes at the Embrace Centre

Our qualified teacher, Leanna, has just started running Literacy classes for a group of 8 to 10 year olds on Tuesday afternoons.

There will be a group for 5 to 7 year olds starting in the new term and will be on Wednesdays, 1-2pm.

These groups are specifically for children with SEND who are home educated or educated other than at school.

Spaces are very limited as the groups will only ever be for a maximum of six children at any one time and parents are expected to stay.

Email for further information or to book.

SLIME factory FUN

Slime Factory Fun

During half term, we held a couple of extra clubs, including our Slime Factory.

Lots of messy fun was had by the children and the parents too!

The session sold out very quickly but don’t worry if you missed out this time around.

Look out for another Slime Factory during the next school holiday.

Half term is here

Half Term activities at the Embrace Centre

Half Term is Here – What Are Your Plans?

The Embrace Centre will be open throughout the half term holidays, with a range of sessions to choose from. Alongside our usual groups and activities, we have a few extras, including a slime factory (messy play for older children). Due to the popularity of the sessions and limited spaces for each group, booking is essential. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide tickets on the door. Take a look at our Ticket Source page:
